Questions, answered quietly.

Email support@kidfacts.app and a person will reply, usually within a day.

Getting into the Parents area

Tap Parents on the home screen and answer the arithmetic question. Everything behind it, the dashboard, priorities, personal facts, settings and purchases, is for adults.

Which skill areas are free?

Your child's own facts, plus two skill areas you choose during setup. You can swap the two from Parents > Priorities. KidFacts Full opens every area.

Subscriptions, trials and cancelling

KidFacts Full is billed by Apple through your Apple ID. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial; cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Family Sharing is included. Tap Restore purchases on the unlock screen if a purchase doesn't show up on another device.

The read-aloud voice sounds robotic

KidFacts uses the best English voice installed on the iPad. Download an enhanced or premium voice once in iOS Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices and KidFacts will use it automatically. Which voice is in use is shown under Parents > Settings.

Easier-to-read letters

Under Parents > Settings, turn on Easier-to-read letters to switch all reading text to Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for low vision that many children with dyslexia find easier.

Deleting data

KidFacts stores everything on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own private iCloud database. Deleting the app removes it from the device. To remove the iCloud copy, open iOS Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage and delete KidFacts there.
